Description
Cryogesic Fine Spray is a fast-acting vapo-coolant spray that provides rapid, transient, topical local analgesia for minor invasive procedures and a source of instant 'coldness' for tracking the efficacy of epidural blocks.
It is sprayed topically onto the skin which then creates an analgesic effect by making the skin cold and less sensitive. Usually, this effect lasts for about 30 - 45 seconds after which the skin starts re-warming but can vary depending on circumstances.
Caution -
Not suitable for children under 3 years.
Do not use on patients allergic or sensitive to Ethyl Chloride or who have poor circulation e.g. diabetes mellitus or Raynaud's syndrome or who have sensitive skin.
Do not spray on open wounds.
Do not over-cool skin as this may cause frostbite.
Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracks.
Discontinue use if undesirable effects occur.
Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Do not breathe spray or vapours and do not let it to come in contact with the eyes.
