The Philips HeartStart Onsite / HS1 AED (M5066A) is designed keeping in mind an ordinary person (lay responder) so he/she can is able to use it when every second counts! It is easy to set-up and extremely easy to use with Automatic Life Guidance features like voice prompts and CPR coaching to help guide one through the treatment of a sudden cardiac arrest.
A clean and simple interface that is easy to use and understand. The intelligent voice instructions guides the responder through the entire process starting from placing the pads, CPR and delivering a shock. The intelligent sensors with the help of SMART pads can detect the step one is on and can adjust as per the level of expertise of the responder so that one doesn’t feel lost! If needed it goes back to the level the responder is on, if needed repeat the instructions or even rephrase the instructions.
The defibrillator automatically detects through the SMART pads whether a shock is necessary or a CPR is enough. Where Child/Infant SMART Pads are installed it automatically adjust the energy levels for electric shock appropriate for a child and modify the CPR coaching instructions as per a child.
