Omron WheezeScan is designed to help parents detect wheeze in children with asthma symptoms.
It can be sometimes difficult to identify wheezing and children can't always tell what they are feeling. So, it can be hard to figure out what exactly is happening at that moment. Wheeze doesn't always sound the same. WheezeScan analyzes your child’s breathing to quickly and accurately tell you whether or not your child is wheezing.
It is a portable and easy to use but yet powerful device that scans in less than 30 seconds and tells you the presence or absence of wheezing in children. Only WheezeScan uses advanced listening technology to confirm “wheeze” or “no wheeze” with accuracy, even when it occurs at low volumes that you may not be able to hear.
It also offers a complimentary mobile app, for logging wheeze episodes, symptoms, and triggers that can be shared with your child’s doctor to help them manage your child’s care. It is compatible with iOS 10 and above, and Android OS 7 and above.
